The Making of a Cult Classic: The Unauthorized Story of the Goonies

Cool! I’m going to have to check this out. The site says it’s available starting today, but I don’t see a way to purchase it yet. If you’ve already seen it leave a comment and let us know how it was.

Every Goonies fan needs at least Goonies t-shirt. My personal favorites are Goonies logo t-shirt, Distressed Sloth Goonies t-shirt, and Goonies Truffle Shuffle t-shirt #2. I think they could easily add a few more though, like “Hit Puree”, “That’s my Mom’s most favorite piece…too”, “Jerk Alert”, and come on… seriously… no, “Baby Ruth” shirt. Anyhow, you know what you must do. Get one and show your love for The Goonies!

25th Goonies Anniversary Event in Astoria: June, 4th – 7th 2010

Can you believe its almost been 25 years since Goonies hit the big screen? I feel old. Anyhow, next year in Astoria, Oregon the Goonies famdom will will be gathering for a four day Goonies extravaganza. I will be there sporting my red windbreaker and Hawaiian shirt. How about you? How will you be celebrating Goonies Day this year? Me? I will be dawning my Chunk costume and eating a gallon of Mississippi Mud ice cream. I will wash it down with some V8 (hit puree) and a Baby Ruth. Once I finish rigging my house up with booty traps I’ll grab my spanish doubloon and head out for a bike ride to look for the treasure I buried last year.
